CHEF'S SPECIAL

DISCOVERY Thali

The concept of Thali can be traced back to ancient India, where it served as a means of providing a balanced and nutritious meal to people from all walks of life. Over time, it evolved into a cultural institution, with regional variations emerging to cater to local tastes and preferences.

Thali is an amazing way to discover the diverse flavours Indian cuisine has to offer.

The wonderful response from our clients has motivated our team to bring more such unique and delicious regional dishes from different parts of India.

Our Chefs are excited to bring every week diverse flavours from different states of India. Please reserve your thali in advance.

“O ji, Punjab aa gaya!” The moment you step into Punjab, you’re welcomed with a smile, a full plate, and the famous spirit of “Khao, Piyo te Khush Raho!” (Eat, drink, and stay happy!)

This Thursday, Spoonful of India invites you on a delicious journey to the Land of Five Rivers with a Punjab Thali, available in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

Starters: The feast begins with a crispy Punjabi Samosa in the vegetarian thali golden on the outside and filled with perfectly spiced potatoes inside. If you’re choosing the non-vegetarian thali, get ready for the creamy, melt-in-your-mouth Murgh Malai Tikka, grilled to perfection. A fresh Salad, tangy Chutney, and cooling Raita join the table because, as Punjabis say, “Swaad da vi apna hi maza hunda!” (Great food deserves great company.)

Main Course: Now comes the heart of the meal. Vegetarians can enjoy the rich and creamy Paneer Lababdar alongside comforting Punjabi Dal Fry, a combination that feels just like a warm meal at home.

For meat lovers, the star attractions are the hearty Punjabi Kukkad Di Curry and the flavorful Gosht Do Pyaza, slow-cooked with plenty of onions and traditional spices.

Pair them with fragrant Rice and soft Butter Naan, and you’ll know why people say, “Hun gall ban gayi!” (Now that’s a proper meal!)

Dessert: And because no Punjabi feast ends without something sweet, a warm bowl of Sooji Da Halwa arrives to wrap up the experience simple, comforting, and made with lots of love.
